Well another crazy week here in Graficos! We´ve been getting everything ready for the wedding of our investigators and still have to get some papers so it might have to wait until the next week but either way were hopefull everything will work out! We had Ians baptism on saturday and it went perfect! There was a ton of his friends there and one of his friends from the ward baptized him, (his first baptism) which was such a tender moment to watch(: His mom also came and were hoping she will let us teach her and her other daughter too(: We met with antonio this week and got some bad news.. his wife doesnt want him to have anything to do with us or the church and told him he had to choose between the mormons or her...so theres not much we can do but pray for him and hope that she will soften her heart.. still makes us sad because he was one of our favorites and is so awesome!! in his prayer before we left he prayed that heavenly father would help his wife to understand so that he could learn more... sometimes we just have to remember that Heavenly Father has a plan for each one of his children and that as misionaries were just here to be instraments in his hands. We did get some good news too this week... we got cell phones!!!! well one per area! before we would carry around a huge land lineish phone haha but now it will be easier to call our investigators and for them to call us! The whole mission got them and were all happy campers(: Aside from all that were just working hard and trying to do our best.. i talked in church yesterday and talked about the pure love of christ and about charity in honor of Valentines day(: If we truly understand the love that our savior has for us and gives us constantly.. our desire to show that love to others will grow.. i cant think of a better way to show our love than to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all those around us. To be good examples.. to Give service to others and truly look for the good in every one we come in contact with. Heres some scriptures i used..

 

Moroni 7: 47 But ^acharity is the pure ^blove of Christ, and it endureth^cforever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.

Either 12: 34 And now I know that this ^alove which thou hast had for the children of men is charity; wherefore, except men shall have charity they cannot inherit that place which thou hast prepared in the mansions of thy Father.

 

The pure love of christ is Charity... something that one of my leaders taught us in the MTC is that we should pray for charity everyday.. its one of the things we should strive to have as one of our personal attributes.
