holaaaaa familia!!!! how is everyone?? i hope that everyone has a super fun halloween!! i better get tons of pictures of costumes!!! They do celebrate halloween here and we are having a party on thursday with our ward so ill be sure to take pictures too!! Wow 7 months have now come and gone! Where does the time go?? This past week was amazing!! I felt such a change in my attitude for the work and i am so much happier! I decided one day that this is not my time, that all i have to give i need to give to this work and to my heavenly father. Me and my companion are working so well together! i love her!  at first we had a hard time getting used to eachother again but after a long girl talk we worked everything out and she is seriously my best friend!! Which is good because i cant get rid of her(; We have been working hard and have Marvin who is a friend of a member who called us to teach him, he was a former investigator that never showed up to our apts but now calls us to meet with him! Hes awesome and were hoping he will be baptized this next week!! (: Hna raquel, who was baptized a couple weeks ago is simply amazing!! She has been studying like no other and told us she wants to serve a mission!!! Then we have Ciro and Maria..(: Ciro is now passing the sacrament and has a calling and this week is going to Lima to go to the temple with all the other young men!!!!! Wow what an amazing kid!! Now for the big news.... His mom maria has been coming to church with him every week for the past 6 or so weeks but cant be baptized because shes not married and her husband lives in cuzco,, they have been talking about getting married and she told us the only reason they wouldnt is because of money. So we talked in ward counsel and everyone is so excited and wants to help! So looks like i might be planning and doing a wedding in the next couple weeks!! Her "husband" will be coming this weekend to bring all the papers they need and we will go from there!!!! We are all so excited for them!! They are like family to us and i know how much she wants to be baptized and how much this will mean to her!! THE CHURCH IS TRUE (:

Everything here in moquegua is awesome. We have a new zone leader Elder De la cruz, and he is so funny, so put him with Elder astle, our greengo zone leader who is soo smart and funny (plus hes from logan) and they make quite the pair!! We had more than 15 baptisms in our zone in october so we get to eat pizza as a zone!! Were all stoked about that!!

I learned so much this past week but mostly i thought about how most of the time as missionaries we focus on the restauration or joseph smith and dont focus enough on the most important thing.. which is our savior Jesus Christ! I focused my teachings more on Him and our Heavenly Father and felt a diference in the spirit that was there.

I know that our savior lives. That he loves each and every one of us and is always here to help us. He loves each one of you and is always waiting to forgive us and to help us overcome our weaknesses. in a talk called foreword by neal a maxwell it talks about how we didnt come here to add on perfection but to strip away blindness and curruption to discover what we really are! i love this and thought alot about how we should face our weaknesses head on and take care of them! Heavenly father will help us if we turn to him and with his help we can eventually become perfect(:

i love you all so much!!" thank you for your letters and words of encouragement and your prayers!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN(;

love,

Hermana Weller

Subject: still in moquegua!!!

Well i didnt have transfers yesterday soo looks like we´ll be in moquegua for 6 more weeks!! (: im happy to continue the work here and am ready to work hard!! im the oldest one in our zone, or ive been here for the most time! Im with Hna Diaz again! Shes awesome and were excited to work together again! especially because ive been without a companion for a month!! Loco mi vida!! I learned a lot this past week that we are always changing.. the point is we decide whether its for good or bad. I printed out a talk called the fourth missionary and im going to attach it so everyone can read it!! its about missionaries but a lot of it could be related to life!!  It makes me want to work ten times harder and be more and more dedicated to the work! Nothing too exciting to tell you all!! i heard you got to watch the video of the duck slaying. i realize it might be a little much for some of you but you have to understand that that is life here. They raise the animals, kill them and eat them! Sorry if it disturbs anyone(: well life continues here in moquegua, but now its pretty much set that i will be leaving the next transfer which gives me motivation to work hard so i can leave this area with confidence that i did all i could! i love you all!! happy birthday to GIGI !!!! (:

Subject: What a week!!

Well im still companionless, i was with two different temporals this week! Precila and Diana. Their both awesome! Diana has been with me since tuesday, shes great, she was baptized 4 months ago and has such a desire to serve the lord! I mean.. She could be out hanging out with her friends but instead shes being a missionary! Me and the other hermana that is companionless too were talking and decided that its tough to work without another missionary but that the lord is definately blessing us for our work! I know that he is here with us and Is definately in charge of this work! The leaders told us that our companions will be back on wednesday! Im excited to see Hna Diaz again! Then we have transfers on sunday so well see what happens! But whatever the lord needs me to do.. is what ill do(; thats why im here!

We had Raquels baptism on saturday and it went perfectly! SHe is amazing. Her Family are of a different religion and no one came to her baptism. When she bore her testimony she told us that she knew this is the right choice and that her family will come around some day. Seeing the people heres desire to follow Christ is so motivating! They have such faith and courage and i just love them!

So in honor of the wedding of Chris and Amy i want to share Ephesians 5:22-33 A good reminder that husbands and wives should love and honor eachother(: Just want to say CONGRATS to the newly weds and tell you how happy i am for you both(: I wish you the happiest marraige  in the world!! Amy.. Welcome to our crazy family(:

This week i was reading Jesus the Christ about the sermon on the mount and this part really stuck out to me

"the meek who suffer spoliation rather than jepordize their souls in contention shall inheret the earth."

It is so easy for us to get upset with others becasue of the smallest things.. or to contend back with those who try to contend with us. but thats not what our savior taught us. we need to be humble and be longsuffering and not "jepordize our souls in contention" another quote i remembered was "it takes two to contend.. and i will not be one of them."

if We chose to never contend.. we wont! This is an attribute im working on and i know the only way to gain it is to pray and ask for help from my heavenly father!

Cuidense!!!

Con much amor!

Hermana Weller (:

First off happy b day to trav dal and bryan!!! i hope you all had amazing birthdays!!(: i dont think you could have asked for a better b day weekend than conference!! Well im starting to get letters now here and there but it takes about a month or month and a half to het here!! also theyre starting to open the packages here and they said they have to be half food and half other things if you send food! im not sure why but i guess they dont like when people send lots of food here. :( My life is crazy here, im still companionless and am with a temporal, shes great her name is precilla and is 19 years old. Shes studying right now and when she finishes wants to go on a mission! She stays with me whenever she can and helps so much!! love her. The other sister her in moquegua is companionless too and her comp comes back the 16th but they dont know when my companion will come back. We have transfers the 20th and im guessing if she doesnt come back before then ill be staying here another 6 weeks!! haha but like i always say.. whatever the lord needs me to do im here to do it(:  monday and tuesday was awesome. i got to sit in on a meeting with all the leaders of the mission and i learned a ton about how important the work is in each and every area of the mission!! It was funny because everyone i talked to said that moquegua is where the rebels get sent and that everyone hates it there.  haha proababy a good thing i started here so i dont know the difference! Between being in arequipa, meetings and conference i didnt get as much done in my area as i would have liked but conference was amazing and im ready to work extra hard this week!! Also you can add ALPACA to the list of gross things ive eaten here... not my favorite. haha but at least i didnt kill it(: We got to watch one of the sessions in english but that was it, the cable wasnt working so the stake pres said it would be better if we just watched it in spanish! i think my favorite part of all of conference was "doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith!" i love that! Also how they talked a lot about member missionary work!! keep up the good work at home!! Us missionaries need the help of the members!! also the part " we are never too young to learn or too old to change!"

i love this work and i love being here, if anyone out there is thinking about serving a mission... DO IT. Its the best thing ive ever done and i cant wait to keep working until the last day i have here.. and then to do missionary work for the rest of my life!! i know the church is true and i know the savior is always there to give us a helping hand when we need it!!

i love you all!!!!! Thank you for all your love and support!! (:
