Week 2 Email!

HOLA MI FAMILIA!! (:
First off thank you so much for everything you guys have sent me and for all the letters, you guys rock, i feel so blessed to have you as my support group! keep the letters comin and ill try to do the same! I am going to try to only write on mondays though so if you dont get a letter back from me dont fret, just wait til after monday, just trying to be obedient and stuff(:
So ill just take you through my last week....
Tuesday we had a devotional from brother Ringwood and his wife that was amazing!! It was all about enduring to the end and how the most important work we will do will be in our homes, most people think that relates to our families at home while we are on missions but he said there is an equal and just as important meaning to that. What we learn here on our missions will help us to have the strongest families and homes. The most important work we will do is when we are parents, with our own children. I loved that! They talked about how symbolic it was that Nephi went back for the plates.. and then went back for a wife. We should always put the lord first. They also talked about how amazing it is that people all over the world pray for the missionaries and how there will never be a time when you are prayed for more than as a missionary. And that whenever we feel like we can't do it or are having a hard time to think of our families praying for us... i love doing that and you guys have no idea how much i can feel your prayers. After the devotional we met as a district and shared what we learned, it was so amazing. everyone was crying. I decided something that night.. My children can not afford to have me waiver AT ALL in my testimony. I want to do all i can to have the strongest testimony i can. what better way to do that than to serve a mission(:
Wednesday was fun because all the newbies came and so we felt like we were old and had been here forever even though it was only a week. haha I decided that the MTC is like a roller coster everyday. you have highs and you have lows. but the highs always outweigh the lows! I have never had to push myself so much than i have had to here and i love it. I already know i have grown so much and also know i have so much more to learn. We've been teaching a pretend investigator and it has been an amazing experiene. Its crazy to me how much you can love someone you dont even know. And also how easy the language comes when you have the spirit with you, guess the gift of tongues is real after all(:
Thursday was just the same as any other day which consists of waking up at 6;30(yaayyyy(: haha) going to the gym and showering, breakfast, class, lunch, class, dinner, class, and mail at 9:30 then we relax and get ready for bed, quiet time at 10:15 and lights out at 10:30. The worst part is waiting to read letters until nine thirty.. its awful! and we dont get mail on saturdays or sundays so we have to wait til mondays.... so sad :( some funny stuff we do is sing all the time in the shower, its my favorite! we all get the wierdest songs stuck in our heads so thats how we get them out and you all know how good my singing is so im sure you can imagine(: So most of what we do is sit and eat.. but hey what do you do. haha
Friday.. man that day was rough, our teacher laid it on us that day. He said that if we didnt have an eye single to the glory of god that our missions would be misserable and that everything we do should be focused on that.. it was intense to say the least but i think we all needed to hear it. Its funny to walk around and realize how companions were meant for eachother. haha Its great. I love my companion, we are always laughing and joking around but we also can talk about anything and everything and be spiritual. I love her and my district, theyre my new familia and i feel blessed to be with them. So funny story we were all complaining that we never get pizza for lunch or dinner and then that night all they served was pizza.. it was so funny. once again.. the church is true(: The food is good, were all still kind of adjusting but pretty much the best thing is ice cream. i probably eat to much but whatev(: I tried to eat healthy this week after being sick but a hermana can only handle so many wraps and salads in one week(;
Saturday and Sunday were so nice, we got to do whatever we wanted all day because it was conference and we were all in heaven! As i was sitting in conference with thousands of other missionaries i realized what an amazing oportunity it is to be here, with all of these amazing people who have all also left behind their friends and families, what an amazing experience to be with all of them.
Here are some of my conference highlights:
65,634 missionaries out right now, 20,000 with calls, 6,000 in the interviewing process..... how amazing is that! what an army satan has to contend with!! (:
"council with the lord in all thy doings and he will guide you."
'the savior wants to forgive you." -give him the opportunity to do so!
"Simple good habbits lead to Bountiful Blessings."
"stay on the lords side and you will win every time"
"There is a time and a season to all things, he will direct us in each phase of our life, one constitant step at a time. "
"CATCH THE WAVE" this one is my favorite, catch the wave of missionary work, missionaries are needed everywhere! although i get to wear a name tag on my shirt, put a name tag on your heart (:
"Disconnect with technology and reconnect with eachother!"
"THe gift of marraige is gods gift to us, our gift to him is the quality of our marraige."
"When facing the challenge of faith... hold the ground you have already won. Hold fast to what you already know and hold fast until you gain what you are looking for. "
"It takes 2 to contend, never be one of them." -LOVE THAT.
Sunday night we had a devotional from "Vocal Point" an accapella singing group from BYU. and it was absolutely amazing. the first song they sang was come thou fount... haha i was crying the whole time. you guys should go watch them on youtube or something! Theyre amazing!
One more thing from the amazing book tammy sent me, "let the lord use you without consulting you." love that.
So overall life is great here at the MTC i still struggle and i think i always will but the good always outwieghs the bad! I can feel your prayers and i hope you can feel mine(: I love you guys and feel so blessed to call you my family and friends. No word on the visa yet but i will let you know as soon as i hear anything!
yo se que la iglesia de jesucristo es verdadero y yo se que jesucristo es el salvador de el mundo. en el nombre de jesucristo, amen.
LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL.
Hasta la vista!

 *******************************************************************************

Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhh im so excited that I finally get to write you. I only get a half hour to email so try to tell everyone to send me letters, I have alot more time to respond to those! Also I only get to check my lds mail so please check my gmail and send anything to me from it.
Day 1: The first day here was crazy, they shuffle you thru a line and give you your name tag that has a bright orange dot on it so everyone knows your a newbie. It's kinda nice though cuz everyone says "Welcome" where ever you go. Then we took our lugage to our room and then we went straight to class and got all our books. There is six of us in our room, with three bunk beds, me and my companion Hermana Bledsoe and two other sister from our district and then two that are going to Korea and have been here for 4 weeks already. I love love love all of the girls in my room, we all get along so well. The first class and all of our classes are all in Spanish. It's crazy how much I remember, I can usually understand everything that she says (Herman Sherwood, our teacher) which is crazy but I have a hard time saying the things I want. Then we had dinner and unpacked our stuff. 10:15 is quiet time and then lights go out at 10:30. I actually slept pretty good that night which surprised me, no tears either :)
Day 2: We got up at 6 and went to Yoga but I felt like it just made me more tired. haha. We had breakfast and then went to a little devotional, I raised my hand to give some input and it was so cool, I felt like the spirit was talking thru me. That day was so long, me and my companion was so tired, it was awful, we met our Branch Presidency that night and got interviewed and they gave us a little orientation so we kinda knew where everything was. haha. The first day here was the longest day of my life.....until the 2 day!! :)
Day 3: I finally got to see Kelsey!!! You have no idea how amazing it feels to see people you know around here, that and getting letters and package is the saving grace of your day. We already have an investigator who is actually our teacher that we are teaching...all in Spanish. Crazy right?? We already know how to pray and to bear our testimonies in Spanish and basically how to carry on a normal conversation. haha. This day was so funny, we was so tired that me and my companion went into the wrong classroom and it took us a good five minutes to figure out why the elders in the hall were looking at us so wierd...we were in their classroom....haha ahhhh! Man it is great here, the time goes by so slow but I feel like I have so much to learn so in a way it is a blessing. My district is all going to Peru except 1 who is going to Columbia and we are all waiting on our Visas. My companion is going to the Lima East Mission and there is two Elders that are going to the Arequipa mission like me. I am so going to try to send you some pictures of all of them today, they are my new family, I love them. We all feed off of eachother. It is great.
Day 4: We get to go to the Gym usally once a day so I have been getting my workout on ;) My whole district decided to wear red that day. It was so cute. Ther best part of this day was Saturday night....guess who got the stomach flu??? That's right I did. I woke up at 2 am and was up till 7am throwing up my guts. It was awful...finally my companion called the Doctor and they brought me some medicine to make me less nausious and a million gatorades. But me and my compaion had to stay in our room the whole day on Sunday.
Day 5: I slept most of Sunday and could seriously not get out of bed without wanting to throw up everywhere, I felt so bad because my companion just had to sit in there with me. Luckily a General Authority didnt speak at the devotional or I would have felt super bad. haha. I finally got ready and made myself go to dinner with her at 4:30 because she had been fasting all day and was starving but I could barely eat Ice Cream, It was awful. Anyways we had to stay in our room the rest of the night so I got to write some letters which is good.
Today is Day 6: I honestly didnt think I would make it to today. Today is Pday so normally I will email and write everyone back on Mondays, so we got to go to the Temple this morning and for the first time I felt like this is where I am supposed to be. Yesterday was really hard, it is easy to forget about home life when you are busy studying and learning, but when you are stuck in your room all day it is easy to get emotional and miss home. I miss everyone like CRAZY and I love getting letters and packages, it makes the days a millions times better, no word on the Visa yet but we are all hoping they come this week so we can leave next week after Conference. Hopefully a General Authority will be here this weekend! :) I am doing good though, yesterday made me realize how lucky I am to be able to be working and learning and not stuck in bed. "No se preocupen demasiado" - dont worry to much. VALE LA PENA - its worth it :) I know that this experience will make me a better person, a better wife, and a better mother. I know it's going to be hard but I can do it.:) I could use some mints, they dont let us have gum here! And some chapstick, maybe some cute papers or envelopes but that is all I can think of! The story about the car cracks me up! Hopefully you will start noticing more and more blessing for me being out here! Let me know anyother questions you have or want me to write about in my letters! It is going to be a long journey but I know it will be worth it in the end! LOVE YOU, LOVE YOU, LOVE YOU!!! :) Can't wait to hear from you and to write you in a week!!! Enjoy conference and go to church :) Yo se que la iglesia de jesucristo es verdadero, y dios es mucho amoroso y es nuestro padre celestail. Yo se que en el nombre de jesucristo Amen. Love you!!:)

It's here, Our first letter!

Oveja Perdida

Family!
Day one is over! Today was amazing and I hope this Joy and excitement carries on throughout these 18 months and i'm sure it will! First off my address is:
Sister Camille Melissa Weller
MTC Mailbox #266
PER-ARE
2005 N 900 E
Provo, Utah 84604-1793
write me lots of letters! I want to thank you guys for everything you all did over the past days and weeks. I couldn't have done it without your love and support! I love and miss you guys so much! So first off they put you through this assembly line and give you your badge and room key, then they haul all of your luggage to your room which getting my two huge suitcases up the stairs was super fun :) I felt like such a princess (LOL) I'm in a room with 5 other girls so 6 girls total, 3 bunk beds so basically were all living out of our suitcases that we put under our beds. Ha-ha. 2 girls are going to Korea and the other 3 are going to Peru!
After we took our luggage to our room they take you to the bookstore and you get a 20 pound bag of books and stuff. Ha-ha  Then we went to our classroom and met my district, from the second you walk in the classroom the teachers only speak Spanish  No English  It surprised me how much Spanish I know and also how much I have to learn. My teachers are awesome, they make me so excited to learn. By the way Oveja Perdida means "Lost Sheep" :) They taught us that today when someone asked about my ring. After class we went to a little devotional thing that was really cool. The MTC president talked and so did his wife. One of the coolest things they said was that you only need to do 2 things to succeed. 1. Get started 2. Never stop.
I loved that! OH YEAH>>>my companion :) she is great. Her name is Hermana Bledose and she is so nice! She is from California and she went to BYU. I think I am really going to get along with her. She is great. I am already trying to serve her and everyone around me. I want to start these 18 months off right! After the devotional we ate dinner which was okay, it was a country fried steak sort of thing but I didn't eat much, we couldn't find the wraps but I know where they are now so I am going to try that tomorrow  I tried to find Kelsey but I haven't seen her yet! We had a little "First teaching experiences  thing where we went to three 2 different scenario's and had to be the missionaries to non members, there was a whole room of us so it wasn't bad but it still made things more real. It made me so excited to learn and to get to go to Peru and teach the people. A lady talked to us today and said her Granddaughter is going to Peru and her Visa just came. So everyone in my district(all of us are going to Peru except 1 who is going to Columbia) are hoping ours come soon so we can go to the Peru MTC! Two of the Elders in my district are going to Arequipa, so that is pretty cool! They want us to speak as much Spanish as we know so basically they want us to speak Spanglish :) I'm loving it here so far. I love being surrounding by missionaries  The spirit and feeling of peace is so strong. It feels so good to be here, I know it is where I am supposed to be.
We got our schedule for the next 6 weeks and it is comforting to know everything it already planned out for me. I can't wait to dive into the language and the gospel. ;) OH!! my P-days are on Mondays so that when I will email you back. Everyone's been talking about Easter Sunday and how a General Authority will probably be here to talk so that is exciting! You probs won't hear from me until Monday but they told us to make sure we wrote home tonight. Especially because you didn't have my address. I love you. I feel good. I know it will get hard but I am ready to do the work! THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!!
I Love Love Love Love you all! Talk to you soon, write me!!! <3
Love Sister Weller

We are hear, the day has come, March 27 2013!

Thumbs up and her adventure starts!
Goodbye my lllooovvveee!

We went to Zuppa's in Provo to eat, met lots of other missionaries there,  Camille held it together all morning but got a little teary eyed at lunch and said she was very anxious to get started! When we pulled into the parking lot across the street from the MTC the parking lot attendant said they had almost 800 missionaries arriving that day and almost half were sisters. That was the most sisters in one day so far!
The Family!
Grandma & Grandpa
Don't mind the ugly cry face going on...LOL

Grandma is going to miss her so much!

Hard to let go of Gramps!

She pulls it together and says, "Lets go, I'm ready"
